Sucheta Dasgupta is a writer, translator, journalist and former electrical engineer. She lives in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and works with Deccan Chronicle and The Asian Age. Durgapur, West Bengal, is her home town. She is the translator from Bengali into English of Trailokyanath Bhattacharya’s tales of magic realism.
