Darpan Singh is a senior journalist with over two decades of experience reporting and managing newsrooms across India. Widely published as columnist and analyst with a strong record in political, policy and environmental journalism, he has been regularly featured on international platforms such as BBC for insights on India and global affairs. He has served most recently as executive editor at IndiaToday.in, leading multi-format newsroom operations and editorial strategy. Presently on a book-writing sabbatical, he continues to engage with the media ecosystem through guest commentary and editorial consultancy. He lives in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Forthcoming from Running Head is a coming-of-age novel set in heartland Bihar, to be followed by a second novel set in the world of journalism in Patna.
